Tru Armor Roofing is a family-owned company operating out of Eagle, Idaho. Idaho owners and Idaho crews.
Who we are
Tru Armor Roofing is based at 1392 W Colchester Dr in Eagle, Idaho. We have worked on roofs across the Treasure Valley for twenty-five years, and we live in the same valley as the people we work for.
Justin and Craig are both Idahoans. Most of our work comes from neighbors, past customers, and the people they send our way.
How we quote a roof
We take photos of your actual roof, walk you through what they show, and give you time to decide. Most homeowners just want to see what is going on up there before spending money.
How we work
We inspect before we recommend. A roof cannot be diagnosed from the driveway, so we get up there and look.
We document what we find. You get photographs of every problem area, so you can see what we are describing.
We recommend repair when repair is right. If your roof has eight good years left, that is what we will tell you.
We put it in writing. Scope, pricing, decking cost per sheet, warranty term. Before you sign, not after.
We answer the phone. Including at three in the morning when water is coming through a ceiling.
We clean up. Property protected before tear-off, magnet sweep before we leave, and if you find a nail next week, call us and we come back.
What we install
Asphalt shingle, metal, tile, synthetic, wood shake, TPO and EPDM. Working with seven systems means we can recommend the one that suits your roof and your budget.

Common questions
Idaho requires contractor registration, and any roofer you hire should be able to hand you their number without hesitating. Ours appears in the footer of every page of this site. Ask any contractor for proof of general liability and workers compensation before work starts. Then verify it, rather than taking a photo of a certificate at face value.
Ask any roofer this and expect a direct answer. Subcontracting is normal in this trade and not automatically a problem. But it is worth knowing who will be standing on your house, and who carries the insurance covering them.

Two reasons. First, a warranty is only as good as the company still being here to honor it. Second, Idaho roofs have specific problems: heat cycling and wind in the valley, snow load and ice dams up north. A crew that worked Texas last season is not thinking about your attic ventilation in January.
